A Universal Standard Income for adults aged 21 and over, introduced progressively over ten years and linked to a participation requirement with defined exemptions.

A single progressive Income Tax structure with five marginal bands, designed to be read alongside the Universal Standard Income, the abolition of employee National Insurance and reform of the Personal Allowance.

Create a National Care Service as a targeted safety net for people who cannot afford essential social care or end-of-life care, funded by a proposed 1% Care Levy on gross income.
Keep universal healthcare — change the model that delivers it.
Retain universal healthcare while reforming how it is financed and delivered: compulsory qualifying health insurance for every resident, regulated competition between providers, and government assistance so nobody is left without cover.
